The Race

  • 5000 Meter race.
  • You may run 10 athletes in the varsity race.
  • Team scores will be based on the top 5 finishers.

Awards

(No duplicate awards)
  • T-shirts to top ten finishers in each varsity race.
  • T-shirt to top five finishers in each JV race.
  • T-shirt to top seven runners on each winning varsity team.
  • Champion and runner-up team plaque in each varsity race.

  • Leone Timing will provide timing services.

Teams will be placed in each of the races based on a random draw.

Modified race

The course will be about 1.5 miles.

Course

The course is 95% Grass. There are four hills on this course that challenge runners. This is a good spectator course for parents.

Cost

Payable by check or voucher to the Chittenango Varsity Club.
  • Combines girls and boys teams $150
  • Single boys or girls team $75
  • Individuals $10 up to two per school. (Full team price after 2)
  • Modified teams will be an extra charge!
  • If you enter 1-30 modified athletes. (Both Boys and Girls added together) add to the varsity entry $30.
  • If you enter 31 or more modified athletes. (Both Boys and Girls added together) add to the varsity entry $50

Concessions

The Chittenango Booster club will open a snack bar.

Entry Deadline

  • Monday 10/10/2011 10:00pm.
  • After 10/10/2011 you will be place in the last races of the day.
  • Will post race assignments on 10/11.
