Covering The Worlds

Welcome to ArmoryTrack's coverage of the IAAF World Championships. We will be using a variety of sources, including Elliott Denman on the ground in South Korea, to provide you with news, notes and anecdotes.

Our coverage will focus closely on those athletes who have been connected with The Armory over the last decade or so, but it certainly won't be limited to that. We suspect we might have a thing or two to say about Usain Bolt's defense of his titles from Berlin two years ago.

We will wrap up the action each morning (Daegu is 13 hours ahead, so the evening events will be ending in the morning here in the States). And provide a daily column — Dateline Daegu — each afternoon. Denman will be picking out features as the action happens and Jack Pfeifer will be helping relate the happenings to The Armory in a variety of ways.
