Millrose Games Headline 2012 Armory Calendar

The 2011-12 schedule at The Armory has been completed and the nation's bustling track & field facility will welcome more than 100 events this winter. "We have all 105 dates filled," said Armory Foundation Executive Director Norb Sander, "including some exceptional new events."

Along with the traditional mega high school invitationals, the New Balance Nationals will again bring high schoolers together March 9-11 for a true national championship.

The ever-expanding college program will feature great competition, including the country’s largest indoor meet — the New Balance Collegiate Invitational — on Feb. 3-4. The Armory will also welcome the return of the Big East Conference Championships, the ECAC Division III Championships and the UAA Conference meet in late February.

The highlight of the season will be the Millrose Games 2012 at the Armory on Feb. 11, where all traditional events will be hotly contested and meet records will be in jeopardy. The Millrose trials will be Jan. 11, which will conclude with the availability of 1,000 tickets for sale to high schools. "With only 4,100 seats available the demand will be great for reserved seating, but we want to be sure, for especially the high school qualifiers, their supporters will get a chance at tickets for a reasonable price," added Sander.
