WEATHER ADVISORY: The Westchester County Championships have been moved from Saturday to Sunday at Croton Point Park and the start time has been moved from 9am to 10am. All races will run one hour later than scheduled. If there are any other changes caused by weather, coaches and meet directors are encouraged to notify us at Armory@ArmoryTrack.com and we will help spread the word.
ArmoryTrack.com has more 70 meets on the schedule this weekend in what is perhaps the busiest weekend of the season. The high school scene will see the final weekend before Sectional championshiops begin next Thursday and the college scene will see conference championship after conference championship, both locally and nationally.
Saturday's weather forecast looks pretty brutal as many in New York state might see the first snowflakes since April. So if you were among those complaining about just how hot it was Columbus Day weekend, this weekend's for you.
Seven meets and at least 30 races will be held throught the weekend at the mecca of cross country — Van Cortlandt Park. There will even be a time on Saturday when two meets overlap as the PSAL Brooklyn Championships and the CHSAA races will be going on at the same time from 1:30 until 2 pm on Saturday afternoon.

Welcome to Holiday Marathons, a series of races in New York City's Van Cortlandt Park that forsakes the large entry fees common at the corporate-sponsored events that populate running calendars across the country. The race includes a 50k marathon, a half marathon, a 10K and a 5k. The course is challenging, beautiful and scenic, a true adventure! All skill levels are welcome, fun should be had by all. All races are free and open to all.
