Catching Up With The Conleys

Sydney Conley won a high school national indoor title at The Armory last winter. This weekend she returned as a University of Kansas freshman and Armory Track caught up with Sydney and her father Mike, the 1992 U.S. Olympic gold medalist in the triple jump.

Sydney ran into the championship section of the 60-meter dash, running 7.59 in the heats but failing to advance to the final, and took second in the college section of the long jump (19-2) at the Armory Collegiate Invitational.
