He's Millrose Fast

by Brett Hoover — posted on 2/3/2013

If you watched Baltimore's Jacoby Jones return the kickoff for a touchdown to start the second half of the Super Bowl and thought, "He's track fast." The answer is, "Yes he is!" For just two years ago, he was a Millrose Games champion.

Then a member of the Houston Texans, Jones won the "Super 60" at Millrose, a straight dash against stars of other sports, with one arm extended into the air for about half the race.

He won in 7.00 ahead of former NFL player and current member of the UFL’s Omaha Nighthawks, Anthony Dorsett Jr. (7.14); Olympic bobsledder Steve Mesler (7.24); Bryan Jordan of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy (7.33); former Major League Baseball player Junior Spivey (7.86) and former NBA player Jay Williams (9.11).

Here's a story on Jones from the Jackson Sun.
