Jenn Suhr was working out at The Armory Wednesday and agreed to sit down with Ian Brooks afterward. The first American woman to clear 16 feet in the pole vault last weekend at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, Suhr remembers her earlier years competing at The Armory.

She now warms up at higher heights than she used to clear back then.
