Her Place On That Wall

Here was a first. As Jack Pfeifer was updating the records on The Armory's famed high school record wall, the Columbia men's and women's teams began to enter the facility for an intra-squad meet.

That meant that Lion freshman Waverly Neer, who broke the national high school 5,000-meter run record at the New Balance Indoor Nationals at The Armory last March, had the opportunity to become the first record breaker to actually place her mark on the wall.
