45TH ANNUAL KENNEDY/STERLING X-COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

You are cordially invited to the 45th annual JFK/Sterling X-Country Invitational, the oldest continuous invitational in Westchester. The meet is held under the auspices of the NFHSAA Associations. NYSPHSAA rules must be observed.

 

Date:              Saturday, September 30, 2006

Entry due:     September 15, 2006

Races:           ●  Varsity: 2 boys and 2 girls divided by school size. ( 5000 meters)

                        ●  J.V.- 1 boys and 1 girls ( 5000 meters)

            ●  Freshman – 1 boys and 1 girls ( 2500 meters)

Awards:         ●  Boys' Varsity – I and II – Trophies to top four teams in each race

                        ●  Girls' Varsity – I and II – Trophies to top four teams in each race

●  Specially designed cloisonn้ pins to top 15 finishers in each varsity race.

●  Boys' J.V. – Trophies to top five teams

                        ●  Girls' J.V. – Trophies to top three teams

                        ●  Freshman Boys' – Trophies to top three teams

                        ●  Freshman Girls' – Trophies to top two teams   

●  Medals to top 15 finishers in each race, adjusted up if numbers warrant.

Entry Fee:     $65.00 (minimum entry fee) for one team,  $130.00 for 2 or more

                        teams. If second team is incomplete pay $9.00 @ athlete.

 

You must FAX your entry to Sr. Janet Meehan at 232-3416 before September 15, 2006 and submit a copy to your business office separately.  N.B. This is an entry fee not a participation fee.

 

A legitimate JV or freshman team may compete even if your varsity is not competing. Our intention is to promote the sport of X-Country by allowing boys and girls to compete at their own level in this early season meet.
