Pembroke Cross-Country Invitational

Where             Pembroke Junior/Senior high School located at the intersection of Routes 5 and 77. 13 miles west of Batavia, ½ mile south of NYS Thruway Exit 48A.

 

Races              There will be 4 races held this year: Boy’s Varity, Girl’s Varsity, Boy’s Modified, and Girl’s Modified. You may enter an unlimited number of runners in any race.  We usually attract many small to medium sized schools from both Section V and VI. Last year, we had Alexander,  JFK, Livonia, Medina, Notre Dame, Pembroke, Penn Yan,  Roy-Hart  and St. Mary’s compete.

 

Course                        The course features rolling hills and a run through the school’s nature trails. The course is 95% on grass surface and offers many opportunities to observe the races. This is the same course as in the past few years.

 

Awards           The top three teams in Boy’s and Girl’s varsity will receive a trophy.  Winners of Varsity races receive a trophy; with 2nd –10th finishers receive a medal. Winners of modified races get a trophy.  All modified runners get ribbons. 

 

Entry fee        $65.00 per school, $35 per team and $10 per individual.

 

Facilities         Limited changing and restroom facilities are available.
