Sawyer Cross Country Invitational

*Meet Information*

Date: Saturday, October 1 , 2005

Place: Saugerties High School, Saugerties, New York.

*Note: The race will begin on school property then continue onto the "Horse Shows in the Sun" property.

Distance: The Varsity races will be 5000 meters. The Freshman race will be a 2 mile race, and the Modified race will be 1.5 mile race. The surface will be a mixture of soft dirt, grass, and packed gravel.

Schedule: Please arrive no later than 8AM, so your athletes can walk the Course.

Saturday: 9:00AM - Freshman Boys

9:25AM - Freshman Girls

9:50AM - Varsity 1 Boys

10:30AM - Varsity 1 Girls

11:10AM - Varsity 2 Boys

11:50AM - Varsity 2 Girls

12:30PM - Modified Boys / Girls

*( If there are Low numbers of Varsity Racers, only Varsity 1 Boys / Girls will Race.)*

Awards: Team awards - Freshman Races 1^st & 2^nd Place trophies.

- Varsity Races 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd Place trophies

Medals will be given to the top 15-25 Freshman runners, depending on the turnout. Medals will be given to the top 25 in the Varsity races.

* Food will be available at the concession stand and T-shirts will also be sold.
