You are cordially invited
the 4th annual Villa Bears Running
Classic. This meet will be held on Saturday,
Sept. 16, 2006 at nationally renowned Van
Cortlandt park in the Bronx, New York. We will
have 3 races—Varsity, JV, and Frosh—all run on
the traditional 2.5 and 1.5 courses. The meet
features beautiful custom made medals, plaques,
and trophies along with top flight
competition—many upstate and local powerhouses
join us for an exciting day of racing. In
addition, this year, we will be adding
computerized scoring to help enhance meet
efficiency. All coaches MUST e-mail a team
roster with complete names and grade levels
prior to race day. If you have any problems or
questions please call me at home or on my cell.

RULES AND REMEMBERS:
*All teams must submit a varsity
team (7 runners, 5 to score) before a JV team
*In case of a tie, a teams 6th
place finisher will determine the scoring(lowest)
*Medals to the top 50 in each
race—Plaques to each member (7) of the top
3 teams in each race—Trophies to the
top 3 teams in each race
*All teams must wear the same
matching top in each race, designating school
name
*All complete B,C,etc teams will
count in the scoring—no displacement
*Cost is $30 per team per race,
$6 per individual, Complete B,C, etc teams will
receive a discount rate of $20 per team
*SCHEDULE—Frosh—12:45,
Varsity—1:20, JV—1:45. These times are
