Week
7- Rankings update Congratulations
to all the winning teams and coaches. This was probably the most exciting CHSAA
girls Millrose Trials the league has seen in a while. 1.
Sacred Heart: Congratulations girls! A job well done. 2.
Holy Trinity: Shana Cox (56.0) couldn’t do it all by herself this time!
PR though 4:00.71 3.
St. Joe’s Sea: A nice well balanced team. Ran as advertised. 4.
Loughlin: The only school with a boys and
girls team qualifying for Millrose. 5.
Spellman: Proves the theory, that a team
will always qualify from the second heat. 6.
Kellenberg: Grabs that 6th spot by like a
tenth of a second or something! Top
Relay Splits at Trials: 1. Shana Cox-Holy Trinity 56.0 2. Kate Lawson-Sacred Heart 58.1 3. Tierra Fletcher-Spellman 58.5 4. Caitlin Paul-Sacred Heart 58.9 5. Vanessa Augeri-Holy Trinity 59.5 6. T. Trinity
Sacred Heart: Sacred Hearts 4:01.89 tops the leaderboard. However the
lady titans ran 4:03.3
over a month ago, and will await the showdown on Wednesday. 3.
Loughlin:
Improving, Improving, Improving
(4:04.49). How many sophs on this team? 4.
St. Joes Sea: No
news after a few weeks drops them down a couple of notches.
However, don’t be surprised if they take it all on Wednesday. 5.
Spellman:
Being #5 ain’t too bad when 6 make the garden. 6.
Kellenberg:
ran 4:23. Can run a lot faster. 7.
St. Anthonys: Will try to qualify from the second heat again! 8.
Notre Dame:
Could be the sleeper team on Wednesday.
1.
Holy Trinity: Snowed
out at Brown! Anyone have a shovel? 2.
St. Joes Sea: Relaxing
with a 4:03 and waiting for the trials.
3.
Loughlin:
Who knows which is better: soph. 4x400 or varsity? Both real good! 4.
Sacred Heart: Taking
a vacation in Orlando with Mickey! 5.
Spellman:
4:16 may be good enough to get in this year! 6.
Sub 4:20 may get in the 1st heat. However, it may be a wiser decision
to try to qualify from the second heat “ala” St. Anthony’s 99, and
Kellenberg 2000. Best
bet for #6: St. Anthony’s or Kellenberg
