Sair Salgado Fernandez, a former athlete at NAIA program Oklahoma City University currently training under the guidance of Ryan Hall in Flagstaff, Ariz., finished second in his section of the 1,500 meters in a personal-best 3:39.68 at the Sound Running Sunset Tour presented by Brooks at Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium in California.
