posted on 10/10/2011 Super Bowl champion and NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi, formerly of the New England Patriots, finished his first 13.1-mile race on Sunday at the B.A.A. Half Marathon in Boston, which was presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. His time was 2 hours, 10 minutes, 5 seconds. Tedy ran with his wife, Heidi Bruschi, and the two ran together the entire race, which was run through the Emerald Necklace park system in Boston and Brookline. The race started and finished in Boston's Franklin Park at White Stadium. More than 5,000 finishers completed the 11th Annual B.A.A. Half Marathon, which is the B.A.A.'s second-largest event next to the Boston Marathon. Tedy's Team, a Boston-based charity which brings awareness of stroke, is Bruschi's athletic-related running team. For complete results of the B.A.A. Half Marathon, click here.
