December 13, 2017 was declared Ms. Ida Keeling Day at The Armory. Hundreds of members of The Armory’s CityTrack and Little Feet programs, which includes elementary and middle school children from the local Washington Heights and Inwood communities, joined Ms. Keeling for a day of exercise and fun.

At 102 years young, Ms. Keeling is still an active runner and inspiration to athletes across the world. She has held world records in the 60m 90-94 age group, 60m 95-99 age group and 100m 100-104 age group.
