Natalie Dumas raced her first 800 meters of the 2025-26 high school indoor season on Saturday at The Armory and the versatile senior from Eastern Senior NJ won it with a controlled effort of 2:07.73, good for an early US#2 ranking in the event.

The U.S. Marine Corps Holiday Classic went on as planned despite a Friday night snowstorm and produced a half dozen new U.S.-leading performances.

Dumas, who won three championship races at New Balance Nationals Outdoor last spring, is one of the brightest stars on the prep scene heading into 2026. She competed in her first USATF Outdoor Championships last summer and is sorting through her upcoming college decision.

Olympian Quincy Wilson of Bullis MD, already US#1 in the 500 meters, moved to the top of the 300 meters with 32.94 seconds. It was just off his personal best of 32.87. Teammate Cameron Homer was second in 33.30, which is good for US#2.

Wilson also ran in the prelim round of the 200 and clocked 21.73. Homer ran 21.47 in the prelim round.

Bullis freshman Mya Arrendell continued to impress with victory and US#1 in the 200 meters, running 23.75 for a meet record as teammate Kennedy Brown was second in 23.97.

Bullis' Kassidy Hopkins won the girls 55-meter hurdles in 7.60 seconds, lowering her US#1 and moving onto the all-time list at No. 15 alongside Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone

Solai Russell of Bullis was second in 7.91 for US#4.

A high quality boys weight throw competition featured a matchup of two of the event's all-time best. Shamrock Thoun of Woonsocket RI threw 80-9.50 in the fifth round and defeated US#1 thrower Ryan Evans of East Greenwich RI, who threw 72-11 and fouled on his final two attempts.

Evans owns a best this season of 81-10.75, which is 12th all-time. Thoun is 10th on the all-time list with his best mark last season.

Aaron Rich from Lyman Hall CT achieved a US#1 mark in the long jump with 24-1.75 and also finished second in the high jump with 6-6 and was fifth in the 300 meters with a personal best 34.79.

Twin brother Ethan Rich won the triple jump with 43-9.50 and the high jump with a clearance a 6-8. He was also third in the long jump.

Brooklyn Lyttle of Elizabeth Seton MD jump a US#1 distance of 20-7 to win the girls long jump.

The Downingtown West PA boys ran a nation-leading time of 3:21.02 in the 4x400 relay. Anchor leg Olo Kolade earlier won the 400 meters in 48.81 seconds.

The St. James Academy VA, likewise, is the new US#1 in the 4x200 with 1:27.27.

Henry Frasca of The Masters NY won the boys 800 meters in 1:54.21 and moved to US#4.
