High School Regional Rankings Girls XC 2025 - 11/6Published by
Girls Regional Rankings - 11/6/25 By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor More than 20 state meets in the past week have shaken up several of the regions, while others remain unchanged as states such as California and New York are still weeks away from their championships. The first NXR meet of the season takes place Sunday in South Dakota, where the Heartland region is set to bring together runners from states that wrapped up championships last Saturday. Wayzata MN is the clear favorite to repeat at NXR Heartland after a sensational state meet performance that revealed this team is a national championship contender. In the Midwest, outstanding performances by Ann Arbor Pioneer and Romeo have redrawn the regional rankings. Pioneer, led by Natasza Dudek, is now ahead of Indiana champion Carmel and No. 1. Romeo put together its best effort of the season and moves up to No. 3. This weekend, Illinois teams will get their chance to shine at Detweiller Park and see how they measure up. Lone Peak won the Utah title again and Niwot won in Colorado. The order in the Southwest remains the same, although the upcoming NXR Southwest could be a toss-up. American Fork UT moves up to No. 3 with Colorado powers Heritage and Mountain Vista close by. Bridgeland edged out Flower Mound for the Texas 6A title and jumped to the top of the rankings in the South. Three Idaho teams are in the Northwest rankings this week, but Washington and Oregon teams will compete in their state meets on Saturday with opportunities to show improvement.
